This hand knit bolero is the perfect cover up for the upper arms and shoulders, for a night out, special occasion, or anytime you want a little more coverage.
Unique Design
Most hand knit shrugs are made in a rectangle shape and sewn into a tube with an opening for the arms and relies on stretch and gravity to shape the garment. I created this design instead to have shaping for a better fit.
* Extend the wear of tube, sleeveless and short sleeved tops and dresses into fall.
* Lightweight, easy to throw into a purse or bag for traveling or to have on hand when you want a little more coverage.
* Loose knit.
* Super soft acrylic yarn.
* Stretchy.
* Unstretched covers to mid back, can stretch longer if desired by pulling down when worn.
* Sleeves and armholes are a little loose fit and taper to just above elbow.

For all hand dyed creations- Some bleeding is normal during the first couple of washes. But every care has been made to minimize that happening. All hand dyed yarns have been gently hand washed and rinsed by me using a gentle fiber wash.
For ALL fiber creations-No bleach is advised to prevent damaging the fibers and colors. I suggest hand washing with your favorite wool wash in cold water and low agitation even the super wash just to be on the safe side. After all the hours spent on creating your hand mades; Gentle care with your special handmade items is second nature. Dry flat.

And sometimes there is leftover plant matter in fiber, which is normal for an animal that eats plant and sometimes rolls on the ground. Most fibers are processed in a mill. *
