Mardi Gras aka Fat Tuesday is one of the few three ply yarns in stock. It has bold burnt orange as a "twist" instead of yellow, rich forest green and deep purple/hot pink with just a splash of firestar for extra sparkle. At 0.6 ounces/22 yards (three ply) it perfect for an adorable accent to a project or art piece for weavers. Mardi Gras is a blend of Merino, Rambouillet, Firestar and Tussah silk. Gentle hand washing in cold water with wool wash is advised to prevent any felting, shrinking or fading.
