Carnations a simple flower but still pretty to look at. This yarn reminds me of carnations and the subtlety of color. This yarn comes in at 112 yards of silky feeling fiber. 100% Merino wool plied with 80% merino wool/20% silk gave me a smoothness that surprised me. Its soft like the petals of a carnation and goes from sock weight to worsted and follows the fiber and has spots of where the fiber spoke differently but still came out lovely. The extra little bumps and curls where the fiber was allowed to be itself give this yarn personality!
Hand wash cold in wool wash, gently and lay flat to dry.
